Vision Statement
The vision of Main Street Churubusco is to educate the public on the need to keep Main Street the pride of the community. This will be done through developing partnerships with the Town of Churubusco and private businesses to make Churubusco a better place to live, work, and shop while promoting hometown appeal. Main Street will also assist the Town of Churubusco in completing quality of life initiatives outlined within the Town’s strategic and comprehensive plans by applying for private/public grants and providing charitable contributions that will help to provide funds to complete these initiatives.
What is Main Street?
Indiana Main Street encourages community driven revitalization of downtown areas in Indiana cities and towns. The people who make up the Main Street Network are passionate advocates, dedicated volunteers, influential stakeholders, and community organizers who work everyday to turn the tide in their communities—catalyzing reinvestment, creating jobs, and fostering pride of place.
